We are very pleased to announce that we will again be hosting two accessibility sections at the parade, available to those who need accommodations.
There will be a low sensory section as well as a low mobility section.
LOW SENSORY
The low sensory section of the parade is located right at the beginning of the parade on Parson’s street (refer to the map below). There will be minimal lights and noise in this section of the parade and it is open to any one who would better enjoy the parade this way.
LOW MOBILITY
The low mobility section will be located at 1835 Dundas Street, where the OW office is located, and there is ample parking at the back of the building. The location is level concrete that will be thoroughly shovelled and salted to keep the area clear and easy for those who use wheelchairs or walkers to get around. The roads will start closing down around 10:50am so we suggest being parked by no later than 10:40am to ensure you have access to it.
